Download LattePlayer

LattePlayer is a free desktop app for Windows and macOS. It runs Latteland in its own window, keeps your game going when you switch away, and has Flash built in, so there is nothing else to install.

On a phone or tablet?

Install Latteland as an app

LattePlayer is desktop only. On mobile you can add Latteland to your home screen instead. It opens fullscreen, remembers where you were, and still works when the signal drops.

How do I do this?
Quick setup

Run in 3 simple steps

It is a simple ZIP. No installer, and no admin rights needed.

1

Download

Grab the build for your computer, Windows or macOS, using the buttons above.

2

Extract

Unzip the folder somewhere easy to find, like your Desktop. Run it from the extracted folder, not from inside the ZIP.

3

Launch

Open LattePlayer, sign in, and you are back in Latteland.

Why LattePlayer

Built for the cozy classics

It focuses on how these old Flash games like to run, instead of behaving like a normal browser tab.

Flash, built in

The Flash runtime is bundled, so the games just work. No plugins, no extra setup.

Keeps playing

Switch to another window and your game keeps running, instead of pausing the way browser tabs do.

Two at once

Open more than one game window and use split view to play side by side.

Quiet updates

LattePlayer checks the Latteland release channel and updates itself in the background.

Advanced

Prefer not to install it?

You can play Flash directly with an older Chromium and the clean Flash plugin, the same two pieces LattePlayer uses inside. It is fiddly, so the LattePlayer is still the easy path.

Quick version: get Chromium 85, install Clean Flash Player (an open-source build with Adobe's telemetry and kill switch removed), then open the Cafe in Chromium and allow Flash.

Troubleshooting

Windows says "Windows protected your PC"

Because LattePlayer is from a small, fan-run project, Windows SmartScreen may warn you the first time you run it. Click More info, then Run anyway. It is safe to open.

macOS will not open the app

If macOS says the developer cannot be verified, right-click (or Control-click) the LattePlayer app and choose Open. You will then get an Open button that remembers your choice.

Nothing happens when I run it

Make sure you extracted the ZIP first, and that you are launching from the extracted folder rather than from inside the ZIP. Keep the whole folder together.

Which build do I pick?

Windows users get the Windows build, and Mac users get the macOS build. The Mac build runs on Intel Macs, and on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3) through Rosetta.

Do I still need it to play?

No. You can always play the Cafe right in your browser. LattePlayer is optional, and just gives a smoother, full-screen experience.
